PTA Easter Fayre -Non School Uniform Day- Wednesday 30th March

The forfeit for not wearing school uniform is as follows

Nursery - pre-packed cakes
Juniors - Easter Eggs
Mrs Decaro's, Mrs Utting-Lawson's, Mrs Bennell's and Mrs Hussey's Class - Easter Eggs
Mrs Brown's, Miss Jervis and Mrs Morris' Class - small Mother's Day Gift

[Letter was to go home with children on Friday but we forgot! -so if you can spread the word around we would very much appreciate it]

Sunhats

Now the warmer weather is here the children need to be protected from the sun.

Please can parents make sure that ALL PUPILS bring SUNHATS and the child has suntan cream/lotion applied before coming to school.

Reminder - Parent Evenings and Inset Days

Parent Evenings - Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd March.
No After School Clubs on these days.

Friday 25th and Monday 28th March - INSET DAYS

PTA Quiz - Friday 18th March - 7.30pm

Just a reminder that the annual PTA quiz is on Friday 18th March starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each  and are available from the school office.  Ticket includes food [chicken and chips or veggie alternative].

Pink Day - Friday 11th March

As mentioned in the last Newsletter we are having a fund raising PINK DAY this Friday [11th March 2011]. The object of the day will be to raise funds for Cancer Research in memory of Mrs. Janette Williams.
On Friday children and staff are encouraged to wear pink as a non uniform day and make a voluntary contribution for this privilege.

There will be pink snacks and drinks available during the day for Foundation Phase pupils. Any pink balloons or ribbons to decorate the school would be greatly appreciated.
