Pedal for Power Fund Raising

Pedalling for Power.
Year 2 pupil Dylan Beard has decided he, with a little help from his friends, will cycle 4000 miles, the distance from here to Uganda to raise money for Ty Hafan, Breast Cancer Campaign and Sikusi.

However, being only 6 and not allowed out of the street on his own has caused a problem. The solution.... Turbo trainers in the school hall!! A turbo trainer is like a treadmill for a bike. All children wanting to help with the challenge will be encouraged to bring their own bikes in for the week of the 15th April and hopefully some sponsorship money!! Each will take it in turns to pop their bike on a turbo trainer and cycle for as long as they can, helping Dylan to reach his £3000 target AND winning some amazing prizes for themselves as they pedal, including

Family match day tickets for Cardiff City (2 adults and 2 children)
A place on the VIP tour of Cardiff City Ground, behind the scenes look at the stadium, a chance to meet the players and may be a quick training session with them!!!
Sam Warburton's rugby shorts, worn against New Zealand last year and signed by the man himself!
Geraint Thomas' cycle jersey, gold Olympic medal winner and cyclist with Team Sky, signed by the man himself!
And lots of other fantastic prizes.
