Visit from Holyoakes
On Friday 10th June the children from Holyoakes Field First School in Redditch visited our class. We had a very busy day during which the children from both schools participated in an art activity, a tour of the school and completed their own questionnaires with their partners. We also sang a song from the Eisteddfod, performed a Welsh dance and Jordan recited the poem 'Cadw-Mi-Gei'. I am very pleased to say that the day was a great success. The children got on with each other really well and it was a pleasure to see them all playing together in the yard at lunchtime. Thanks to all the children for the enthusiasm and excellent behaviour they demonstrated throughout the day.

Coin Trail - Wednesday 15th June
Exiting News!
The Royal Mint are coming to the school in support of our 50p fundraising trail and have very generously donated a 'Brilliant Uncirculated London 2012 Olymics 50p Coin' for every child that takes part! A reporter and photographerfrom the Observer are also going to cover the event.
It would be wonderful if we succeed to surround our school with a 'CoinTrail'! so please keep sending in any loose change you can spare as every penny will go towards projects that will benfit our children.
Many thanks for your continued support and look out for the story in the Observer.

Holiday Form
Holiday season is upon us! If you are booking a family holiday during the school term we have produced a "Holiday Form" requesting permission to take your children out of school that you can download [see right hand side of blog]. One less thing to worry about! If you have a problem printing it you can collect one from the office.

Stranger Danger
For your information, RCT has informed us that 3 primary age children were aproached in Talbot Green yesterday by two strangers in a silver car asking them if they wanted a lift home.
I have spoken to all the junior children about "Stranger Danger", please can you all be extra vigilant.
Mr S Roberts
The police have been informed, and the children involved have given fairly clear descriptions of the two men involved. It is also hoped that CCTV in the area may help to identify the car.
