Hopefully [weather permitting!]our sports day will be held on Wednesday 27th June.
Nursery and Reception will be in the morning, Y1-Y6 in the afternoon. If it is warm please remember -hats, suncream and drinks!
Please can you tell me whether high top trainers are suitable to wear for sports day.I know that some children have been told that they are not a suitable form of footwear for this type of event but having looked on the internet high tops are suitable for sport as they give extra support. Thankyou.
I would like to know too because some there are children who have been told they cant wear them but l know lots of children that will be wearing them as they havnt been tild they cant.

These types of trainer are good for some sports but for running an ordinary trainer is better. The main problem with them is that children wear them quite loose with the laces only done up a short way. If these are the only trainers a child has then they will be fine but we will ask them to do them up fully so that we don't have any accidents. I hope that this clarifies the matter but call me at school if there are further questions.
