Sports Day

Due to the weather and the forecast for tonight, I have taken the decision to cancel Sports Day tomorrow. The field is very wet and is not going to get any better. The only alternative day that is free is next Friday, 6th July. As this is also the day of the Year 6 prom, we will hold the races for Yr1 - Yr6 in the morning from 9.30am and the Nursery/Reception events will be in the afternoon from 1.30pm. This will allow the Yr6 pupils time to recover before their Prom in the evening and will also enable their parents to watch their last Sports Day and prepare the Community Centre in the afternoon. If weather stops us from holding the event on this date, then I am afraid that we will have to postpone Sports Day for this year so fingers crossed for good weather next week. Many thanks, Mr. Roberts
